Art, Unconventional

Rummaging through the knick knacks of etsy, it`s really easy to notice how artists, designers, crafters and artisans commingle. Etsy, to me, is a great online gallery for any respectable artist.
It`s not hard for people who are truly original to be seen and stand out. Jen Maestre is no exception. A late bloomer in art, her sculptures are made out of color pencil ends. Get the point? Pun intended here.
She works from her studio located in Concord Massachusetts, this former glass artist has given the pieces style and unconventional beauty. They are visually interesting and the jewelry is more than a conversation piece, it`s wearable art. Her jewelry is still composed of pencils and epoxy.

If you would like to learn more or would like to purchase one of her pieces, please visit her store at jenmaestre.etsy.com or you can read about her latest sculptures at Rueben Miller.

Great stuff…………
